But this particular book teaches you how to use metaphorical conceptualization to paint word pictures which is precisely what metaphorical conceptualization is. It’s imagistic thinking that actually “pictures” your thoughts and feelings via concrete imagery which is metaphorical in nature. It’s akin to poetic language and it enables one to “see” the deeper Truth of our feelings and emotions via the painted word pictures themselves. This ultimately is much more deeper than just our personal relationships. Metaphorical conceptualization and language actually brings us closer to our own personal relationship with reality itself. One learns to actually “feel” reality in their bones much like the Poet. When mastered, the “Thinking Bone” or mind if you prefer, perceives conceptual reality in a much greater light that cannot be perceived any other way. The authors focus specifically on the communication in all our personal relationships but it ultimately incorporates our own personal relationship with reality itself. One learns to see, feel and imagine at a much deeper level enabling one to both think and communicate ideas much more powerfully and effectively.
